Fun/motivating workplace with opportunity for advancement
Server/Bartender (Current Employee) – Toledo, OH – January 8, 2018
I have learned a lot while working at Bravo. My customer service skills and relationship building skills have become a lot more advanced and I was able to make a lot of great friends along the way.
A typical day at bravo starts off with you walking in the door and looking at your zone/section. You meet up with your section partner and strategize for the shift ahead. A pre-shift meeting usually occurs before the shift. During that meeting we are informed on new specials, competitions, etc. You then proceed to serving guests and using great communication and teamwork skills to get through the shift in a effective manor which ends with great results.
I have learned how to deal with customers at their best and their worst. I now feel confident in dealing with customers and enjoy building lasting relationships with them. I have also learned how to work well with others and how to train new employees.
The culture at Bravo is a very supportive and fun one. The hardest part of the job would have to be dealing with things that are out of your control, for example, the kitchen staff falling behind. The most enjoyable part of the job is learning new skills and making new friends.
