I'll usually go in to work at around pm until closing. My day at work usually consisted of maintaining the store clean, and attending the customers. Making sure they found what they needed to find, or at least find something similar. Other days I would be on the register, helping people make purchases, at the end of the day I'll have to make sure the section of the store I got that day, was neat before we got dismissed.
From this job/experience I learned how to provide good customer service, and always attend the customers. It's not just about keeping your section clean, it about approaching the customer, and asking them for assistance. I also learned how to work with strangers, I became way better at meeting new people. I got along with all of my co-workers, and managers. They were upset when I left. (I left because it was too far for me, and I had no car at the time) I also learned how to use a register.
My co-workers we're amazing, I got along with ALL of them.
The hardest part of the job was most likely cleaning up the store after a busy day, people can be crazy, and leave the store looking upside down.
The most enjoyable part of the job would have to be seeing satisfied customers, and knowing you took part in helping them find exactly what they needed.
