Briggs & Stratton Corporation is a producer of air cooled gasoline engines for outdoor power equipment. The Company conducts its operations through two segments: Engines and Power Products. The Company designs, manufactures, markets and services engine products for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) worldwide. These engines are aluminum alloy – more... gasoline engines with displacements ranging from 141 cubic centimeters to 993 cubic centimeters. The Power Products segment designs, manufacturers and markets a range of outdoor power equipment and related accessories. Through its wholly owned subsidiary, Briggs & Stratton Power Products Group, LLC, the Company designs, manufactures and markets generators (portable and home standby), pressure washers, snow throwers, lawn and garden powered equipment (riding and walk behind mowers, tillers, chipper/shredders, leaf blowers and vacuums) and related accessories. On June 30, 2008, the Company acquired Victa Lawncare Pty. Limited.
