Job Description

BrightFarms is seeking brand ambassadors to lead in-store product demonstrations to increase brand awareness and supermarket sales through customer engagement, product sampling, and occasional presence at community events. Most demonstrations will be scheduled on weekends from late morning through late afternoon.

This is a part time position with flexible hours (between 8-32 hours per month, depending on Ambassadors' availability).

Ambassadors will support a single or multiple supermarket locations that carry BrightFarms salad greens, leading semi-regular product demonstrations. Ambassadors will be responsible for his or her own transportation to the supermarket (gas will be reimbursed), setting up the demonstration, engaging customers, offering samples of the product, providing customers with informative and accurate information about the BrightFarms brand, promoting product sales, maintaining an attractive and sanitary demonstration area, and cleanup of the demonstration.

Ambassadors may be required to collect feedback or data from customers and should act as a liaison between the supermarket management and BrightFarms, communicating any potential issues with product quality, availability, display, or other concerns. Additional tasks, such as periodic demonstrations at community events or distributing promotional material, may be required.

Ambassadors are responsible for providing BrightFarms' signature "fanatical" customer service to both supermarket shoppers and supermarket employees.

This is a part time position with flexible hours. As the company grows, there may be opportunity for growth.

Qualifications:

Work Experience: Prior in-store demo experience preferred but not required

Education: High School diploma or equivalent

Personality: An Outgoing and friendly personality is necessary to represent our brand. Ambassadors should have strong communication skills, feel comfortable engaging and conversing with shoppers, and share our commitment to providing fanatical customer service! All ambassadors will be trained on the company and will be required to speak informatively and accurately about the company.

Schedule: Daytime weekend availability required

Transportation: Consistent access to reliable transportation (gas mileage will be reimbursed).

Skills: Basic computer skills, including regular access to email

Salary: $15/hour
