Upper management will expect you to do work that is meant for 3 full time employees. The environment can be enjoyable, however the pay is fairly poor.

I loved working here. It was one of my most favorite jobs. It was challenging and I had to multitask. I was promoted 4 times in 10 months.

At Brightree we would review claims to see if they were paid or denied through insurance companies. If they were denied, we talked with representatives and patients to find the reason.

I learned patience and how to multitask in a whole new way.

I think the hardest part of the job was not having enough time to finish everything I wanted to.

The most enjoyable part of the job was that each night I went home feeling great because I worked behind the scenes to ensure patients did not have to worry if claims were unpaid because something was missing.

Performed patient calls on a daily basis to obtain current information needed that was not accurate in the system
Received patient calls in regards to outstanding bills, questions, and concerns
Worked daily reports by fixing accounts and rebilling claims, if needed
Fix or appeal any claim to obtain payment
Bill patient under certain circumstances

My typical day at work would be working from home. Logging into work online and working my three clients/companies that I did on a regular basis. Reviewing medical records to be sure patients qualify for the HME/DME equipment they were set up with. Logging orders, PAR and compliance to release claims to insurance.
