Great place for the people
Client Relations Administrator (Former Employee) –  Edgewood, NYSeptember 14, 2017
The management was not great for all of the people. They chose their favorites and promoted them. They also treated people poorly at times. The company as a whole treats the employees fairly, individual department managers and supervisors need work on their interpersonal skills.

Productive workplace and a learning experience in itself
Analyst (Former Employee) –  Long Island, NYSeptember 13, 2017
Every one around the team is very open. Really gives you the opportunity to learn and grow. If you have any questions regarding your work, everyone in the team is willing to offer a helping hand to help you.
Pros
Team was very good to work with
Cons
More flexibility

Employees are pleasant
Coordinator/Processing Representative (Former Employee) –  Edgewood, NYSeptember 13, 2017
There is favoritism in Broadrige as well as unprofessionalism. I say this because there was too much gossip and childish play in the company. The employees are pleasant (some) but the higher ups are very un-professional. You are not noticed or acknowledged even when giving a good morning or a hello. Last but no least there is no growth in this company only if you know someone within the company with the resources to get you moved up. Although all this has occurred I am very grateful and thankful for the opportunities given by Broadridge Financial Solutions.

Not a likable place to come to
Client Relations Administrator (Current Employee) –  Edgewood, NYSeptember 11, 2017
Was a great place to work when I started. New management, at least in my department, is terrible. He is a micro-manager who lacks people skills and lacks knowledge of this business but will try and take credit for work as well as initiatives that you accomplished.
Pros
Client Service appreciation week, able to work from home when needed.

It's a seasonal company. 90% of the business is done within 4 months out of the year.
Client Service Representative (Current Employee) –  Edgewood, NYSeptember 9, 2017
I believe that Broadridge is a great company to work for, however due to the sensitivity to seasonal work, it is mandatory to work overtime during several months of the year and I find it difficult with a very young family.

Slow paced, big corporate environment
Manager (Current Employee) –  New York, NYSeptember 8, 2017
Broadridge Financial Solutions is, after all, a publicly traded company with a 10,000 workforce. It is a slow paced, big corporate environment. If you are looking for a work environment which allows for a balanced work / life balanced.

Mail Machine Operator, Ops (Former Employee) –  Secaucus, NJSeptember 8, 2017
The work site @ 925 Patterson Plank Rd. Productive but stressful workplace. Management too over bearing I think this is the hardest part of the job.
A typical day at work, I would say fast pacing and competitive.
Pros
competitive Salary & benefits
Cons
unnecessary and unwarranted Pressure by management

Stressful environment with fractured leadership team

The environment has progressively worsened as the IT leadership team is slowly being replaced.

The new leaders do not collaborate well and do not care for or solicit feedback from the teams under them.
Pros
Good teamwork at associate level
Cons
New IT management team lacks focus and unity

This is a company that you can group within. It is also a fun place to work.
Client Relations Administrator (Current Employee) –  Edgewood, NYAugust 21, 2017
My 4 years within Broadridge, I had the opportunity to see that this company is a place that is good to their associates and allow individuals to grow within. The company does believe in the idea of work life balance. Every department is different regarding the opportunities they have within but you are not limited to only one area.

Unfair treatment and favoritism
Data Entry/ Quality Control (Former Employee) –  Lewisville, TXAugust 18, 2017
Managers started to let the workers who had seniority pick up all of the hours instead of letting the new workers receive 40+ hours for the week. They started cutting hours for the workers who only been there for 2 months or less and gave overtime to those who were hired on. People started to get cut weeks at a time to reduce overflow of work hours.
Pros
Learned how to reconcile muted mail.
Cons
Less hours of work being given.

Warehouse Clerk/Forklift Operator (Current Employee) –  Edgewood, NYAugust 16, 2017
A typical day as part of the material management team would be easier if management was correctly trained on how to shift employees around and not rely on the same people all the time. Supervisors are scared to voice their own opinion to the bosses. there is a lot of unnecessary steps done just because that is the way they want it. raises are a joke.
