The working hours like any other job can be good or bad. Sometime you have lots of overtime and other time you don't get enough hours.

8-16 sometimes would have to work doubles to cover shift

Approximately 2.5 to three weeks. You go in and pick up application, once filled out return it. It took over a week to get a call for an interview. Once interviewed they scheduled a physical and drug test which took another few days, Then it was almost a week getting the results back before I could start. They also do a "TB" test.

Yes, there is shift differential for night shift. third shift mostly consist of cleaning the facility and doing the resident's laundry
