CNA, Broomall, Pa - July 5, 2015
I am a previous CNA that worked here for 2 years. Working full time, the pay was HORRIBLE (starting at 10.35/hr) working as PRN (14.30). For the amount of work, the pay is beyond disrespectful. There is never enough supplies (wash clothes, grooming care, etc.) or enough nurse aides/nurses. There have been times when I had 15 residents per shift, and only 1 charge nurse for 43 residents. Management looks down on you, and it's ridiculous because some of the workers are more intelligent and have higher education then them (myself including). The only thing I enjoyed was my interaction with the residents and a few co-workers (most aren't helpful and gossip too much).
