Director Customer Team Actuators (Current Employee), Auburn Hills, MIMay 14, 2014
Pros: job security as long as you do your job (the company will be around for a long time)
Cons: need to learn to manage the growth and not be so very "german", it is an international comapny and need to act like it.
Great technology and possibility for advancement/learning.
Need faster and better communication/direction from upper management.

Very fast paced work!
Machine Operator (Current Employee), Vance, ALApril 21, 2014
Pros: insurance, one time discount on new car if brose works for them
Cons: no over time, runs out of needed parts
Meeting when you first arrive, then you head to your work area and work until your break then back at it until lunch and then again until break. All areas have quotas that MUST be met each shift by each area very few exceptions. During my time there I have worked in Ford assembly, paint, and IBK which is a BMW line and there are all individual assembly – more... lines for each automotive company that we do work for. Management is very by the book and they have high expectations for the company and employees. The hardest part may be just standing on the concrete floors for nearly all of the 10-12 hour shifts. They have a very high turnover rate so you are always meeting new people. – less

Sub Assembler (Former Employee), Warren, MINovember 14, 2013
Pros: raises and a understanding management team
Cons: short breaks
I loved my job because it displayed my ability to work in a environment where attention to detail is necessary. I also liked the fact that we were required to meet a quota every night which was pressure, and it displayed my skills to work under that pressure. I learned what an error- proofing machine was as well as how to run it. Typically at my job – more... it was minor problems with the machines but yet a smooth running day. Hardest part of the job was building and keeping speed to meet the quota every night. – less

The people i work with here are like family to me.
Team Member (Current Employee), Vance, ALOctober 30, 2013
Pros: great benefits and great people
Cons: management: not following procedures
A typical day at work starts off with our morning meetings. It consists of all the quality defects we have had and how we can make things better. As soon as you start working for this company they thoroughly train you for 2 weeks on the station you are going to be working, once you have maintained at making production, quality, and safety then you are – more... able to train at other stations in your free time, if you are willing. I know all of door line, pre assembly, sub assembly and all of CFM production. The co workers are absolutely a blast to work with and I call them my family, however, the management struggles to follow procedures. Choosing their picks on who has to follow them and who doesn't is the main reason why I want an opportunity to move forward with my life. I'm looking for a career not just a job. – less

At Brose as an employer they give you goal everyday and make you reach it by the end of the week if not that same day. This job taught me how to be a fast worker and learner out of all my jobs this one was the hardest but interesting
