Broward College

Broward College is a large, urban higher education institution serving a diverse population of more than 55,000 students annually. For more than 40 years the mission of the college has been to change lives through education by providing county residents with quality education programs that are affordable and accessible. The college offers two-year university-transfer – more... Associate in Arts degrees, two-year technical/career Associate in Science degrees, certificate programs in several technical specialties, and in January 2009 it will begin to offer Bachelor of Science in education degrees. In addition, the college offers online A.A. and A.S. degrees. In the past four decades, the college has conferred more than 65,000 associate degrees, and has been nationally ranked among the top 10 community colleges in the number of associate degrees awarded and the number of minority graduates by Community College Week magazine in its annual survey. There are Broward College campuses in Pembroke Pines, Davie and Coconut Creek and academic centers in southwest Pembroke Pines, Miramar, Weston, and Downtown Fort Lauderdale.
