Director of Service Coordination, ChildNet (Former Employee) –  Fort Lauderdale, FLAugust 11, 2017
I loved working with my co-workers; however, new management is not supportive and impossible to work for. High stress job with very little satisfaction by upper management. Those working in the field and directors are a fabulous team of people.

This is a very nice place to work
LPN (Former Employee) –  Fort Lauderdale, FLJuly 1, 2017
A typical day would be getting report from the previous shift in the morning and making rounds to each individual patient. Sometimes the med-surg floor can get really busy beacause you are trying to finish all your work and also have to take new incoming patients. Overall I think it is a great place to work.

Relaxed Environment
Graphic Designer (Former Employee) –  Fort Lauderdale, FLJune 21, 2017
As a Graphic Designer, this was the most relaxed environment I had ever worked in. Graphic Design is a very fast-paced industry with tight deadlines. Working for the county was more laid back. I was sorry to leave but needed more than the 3 months they allowed for maternity leave.

A day in the life
Substitute Teacher (Current Employee) –  Broward County, FLJune 4, 2017
As a substitute teacher, you could either be going into a school with the best of the best technology, staff, and students or a school that is the complete opposite. Regardless, always walk in with a positive attitude, professional dress, and no matter who you are covering that day, treat each student how you as a parent would like your child to be treated and molded in to. The best part of the day is lunch because that is when I get the most interaction with the students in a stress free environment, "who are you and what would you like me to know about you."
Pros
Everyday is different
Cons
short breaks, no benefits unless you have a BA

Senior Digital Media Designer (Former Employee) –  Fort Lauderdale, FLNovember 15, 2016
Management consist of people close to retirement who don't want to train or motivate employees. Employees feel entitled, are lazy and generally very negative. Too many bad apples and management does nothing to change work culture.
Cons
few promotional opportunities, pay is low, work is mundane
