Principal Firmware Engineer (Contract) (Former Employee) –  Billerica, MAMarch 20, 2015
I was there for eight months. Learned much from the manager, highly recommend the other team members. Friendly and helpful environment, but we were there to work.

In the time I was there there were two barbecues and a Christmas party. Everybody got gifts (coffee cups, drink holders, etc) and items such as anywhere in CONUS plane tickets, $100 gift cards, etc were raffled off - and even contracters were in the pool!
Pros
comfortable environment, friendly staff
Cons
a little disorganized, lack of planned progress goals

Hard company to work for. Not a lot of involvement from management.

Chemist (Current Employee) –  Fremont, CAJanuary 20, 2014
Bruker is a fine company to start at if you want to get experience in the quality engineering or chemistry business. Currently the company is very disorganized and logistics are a nightmare. Managers keep quitting or getting switched around. Hours keep getting changed and what was once a more lay-back company has become fixated on 5 sigma an optimization causing everyone to become tense.
Pros
good work experince, nice people, good pay, good location
Cons
strict breaks, convoluted, unorganized, bad management

Manager (Current Employee) –  Fremont, CaJanuary 6, 2014
Great products, 'some' great people, but lack of priority from top down drives inefficiency throughout the organization.

Priorities change every 5 minutes and are not clearly communicated from the top down. Success is difficult without working around the clock
Pros
compensation and benefits
Cons
work life balance, clear direction from management, cross functional department accountability

nice people, needs a shake up in managment
scientis (Current Employee) –  BillericaSeptember 29, 2012
nice people, no one ever yells. lots and lots of disgruntal employee's common denominator: poor managment of employees, no guidance.
Expect 2% raise, no more. not a great palce for engineers as all engineering is done in France, Swiss and Germany. good opps for scientis
Pros
good benifits
Cons
sink or swim company, no structure, no guidance
