I worked for Tractor Supply Company is a good company to work for. They are not very flexible with taking days off or being late by even one minute, however they pay is good for that area. I was able to advance as a Shipping Clerk only after being with the company for 30-60 days as a Material Handler, this is due to my previous background in the office and clerical work that I have done in the past. I also had my Associate's Degree and was able to excel within the office at the distribution center very quickly. After 9 months, I transfer to the Inventory Control office as a Inventory Control Clerk. Then, after 3 more months I put in for a Receiving Clerk position that was available and got that position and loved it! I did the receiving position and assisted in the inventory control and shipping areas, as needed. I multi-tasked and always stayed very busy, so my 10 hour nights on 3rd shift would just fly by. I did this for approximately 3 years before going on medical leave and not returning back to work at that time in my life. However, I always look for new positions available at Tractor Supply Company, so that should mean something if I still "follow" the company and want to work there. I enjoyed working there. At that time in my life 3rd shift wore me down, however at this point in my life I think that I could do either 1st or 3rd shift. It is more laid back on 3rd shift.
