Being a fairly recent grad in search of work, I accepted this job offer and was hoping to pickup an array of skills. I gained exposure in CRM and project management tools, but ended up with mostly data entry duties. It seemed like an employee's experience here depended completely on the management style of the team manager.
The HR Director made it a more fun place to work, and often organized lunches and events to foster team building. She also tried to give the company a start up feel, even though BHI is definitely not a start up. In the end, I left because of a clash of culture and values.
If you are looking to work at a start up because of the perks, advancement potential, openness to new ideas, and cool factor, this is probably not the place for you. However, if you are more established in your career, have a family, and don't have a problem with suburban new home building, then this may be is the place for you.
