A reputable window & door company is seeking a motivated, hardworking, and detail-oriented outside sales representative for our showroom in Sorrento Valley. Our company has been a premier distributor of quality windows & doors in San Diego area for over 15 years.
Main Responsibilities:

  • respond to sales leads
  • generate own leads by prospecting for new clients
  • identify, document, and track opportunities electronically
  • develop and implement account plans and strategies for existing customers and targeted new customers
  • provide product presentations in one of our 2 showrooms or at jobsite
  • continuously learn about products, new product options etc.
  • educate customers about products
  • provide answers to customer inquiries
  • do takeoffs
  • generate quotations, agreements, proposals and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • close sales
  • report to sales manager
  • perform other duties as assigned


  • minimum 5 years outside sales experience
  • track record of successful account management / relationship building while increasing revenues
  • preferably prior window & door experience
  • ability to prospect new business via referral sources and warm calling (leads are provided) and cold calling
  • an assertive personality and resilient character
  • high energy level, goal orientation and eagerness to learn
  • a high degree of self-motivation and proactive personality
  • well developed planning, organization and time management skills
  • excellent communication (oral and written), presentation and negotiation skills
  • the ability to present products in response to unique customer needs
  • detail-orientation
  • high level of integrity in all business dealings
  • Microsoft Office (Excel etc) knowledge
  • ability to read plans
  • clean driving record
  • Bachelor's degree
