Questionable
Office Manager (Former Employee), Crawfordsville, INJuly 15, 2014
Pros: hourly pay was good, could take time off when needed
Cons: no vacation pay, no holiday pay, only 18-24 hours a week
Liked the job, was around & worked with great people (tenants). The owner was difficult, no consistency, poor business practices. I learned to do some simple maintenance fixes. I worked alone most of the time. Best part of the job, I was not just sitting behind a desk entire work time, the job had varied duties. Typical week: pick up trash & cigarette – more... butts around property; lawncare; clean public restrooms; vacuum or sweep common areas; simple "fixes"; office duties. – less

I wouldn't recommend this institution to anyone looking for employment.
Maintenance Technician (Current Employee), Hartsdale, NYJuly 9, 2014
Pros: teaches how to interact with bad managers.
Cons: high stress for no reason.
Workplace is very strict in its rules, customer oriented solely. Not a fun place to work. I make it fun by being hands on with repairs, painting etc. comment from clients on type of job we do is gratifying even though we don't hear it from immediate management. Co-workers are generally to scared to be themselves so that creates a tense work environment. – more... the hardest part of the job is communicating with managers. The most enjoyable part is feeling proud of what you have accomplished. – less

Schenck job Corp (Current Employee), Pisgah Forest, NCJune 19, 2014
When I work with my boss or co worker we make sure we get the job done. I learned how to cut grass, weed eater, fix outlets, pipes ,toilets, and caulk etc. the hardest part of the job when you have so much to do in such little time. I enjoy doing the trade I did on campus.

GOo people who cared about challenged adults
Van Driver (Former Employee), Faribault MNMay 13, 2014
Drove van to pick up challenged adults in town. Brought them to a day care facility. Loaded and unloaded wheel chairs. Performed maintenance on all vehicles and building when not driving. Co-workers dedicated and caring. Hardest part was when a client got sick and passed away. You become close to them and get involved in their lives. Most enjoyable – more... was when a client smiled and had a good day. – less

Productive warehouse work
Conveyor Mechanic (Former Employee), New Lenox, ILFebruary 20, 2014
Pros: great bosses
Management was great to work with. The hours were conducive to my lifestyle. I learned how to manage my time effectively and learned how to work independently and with others. The most enjoyable part of this job was the bosses and the fact that once you knew your job, they pretty much left me alone to do my job. I am a hard worker and very productive – more... and minded my own business. I did not get involved with gossip or any arguments with co-workers and pretty much kept to myself to do my daily work. The work was physically hard, but I enjoyed it. – less

Owner (Former Employee), Panama City, FLJanuary 27, 2014
Pros: nice steady work, good happy customers, and good pay
Cons: plan and cordianate, price of materials and jobs, after work hours
Quality excellent, work time for the day very good, 8 to 4.30. Very few employees, All help and affords were very much appreciated, Time was managed and worked out , to the benefit of workers and customers, Quality and safety was most important above all. Not having to return to repair new construction or installations of any equipment, or factors involving, – more... painting, pluming, electrical, or anything done during the service provided. – less

Repairs in all building maintenance, such as Plumbing, Carpentry, Electrical, and grounds up keep. I like it because building maintenance had account set up at lowes , when you needed materials or tools, and you could go at anytime to get them, which was right down the street..
I really like the job and my boss.
