You had to be on your toes with this job.
At Bull Moose we worked a swing shift. Every week we would change shifts. We had two tube mills in the building. The mills would take coiled steel and unroll it into the mill through different size rolls(biggest to smallest) slowly making the steel into a round tube. Then the tube would be cut to specific lengths depending on the customers order. All
– more... the employees had their own little jobs that they were responsible for so there wasnt much interaction during work hours. The hardest part of my job was keeping the tube straight while at the same time not getting too far behind. I can't really pin point what it was about this job that made it so satisfying but I really enjoed it. – less
