Teacher will be working in an early childhood setting with children ranging between birth and 5 years of age in classrooms with up to 20 children daily.
Teacher will promote high-quality teaching and learning in the classroom that promotes advance in children's learning and behavioral habits.
Teacher will implement child observations, screening, assessments and be required to maintain proper records and portfolios for each child.
Teacher is required to have excellent interpersonal skills to help facilitate parent involvement and promote consistent communication.
- Baccalaureate degree and valid State Education Department Certificate or,
- Baccalaureate degree in early childhood education or related field and 5 years of supervised experience or,
- Baccalaureate degree in other academic subject, 1 year classroom experience plus study plan or,
- Associate degree in early childhood education plus a study plan.
