Approximately 2,250 engineers, architects, scientists, planners, estimators, economists, technicians and other professionals work in 20 offices located throughout the U.S. and abroad, with 1,800 based in Kansas City. By mid-2006, six months ahead of schedule, Burns & McDonnell had met a three-year business plan goal of adding 500 new employee-owners.
