THIS IS AN INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR OR ALL COMMISSION POSITION: We are looking for self motivated individuals in all cities that have contacts in the healthcare industry to promote our products and services.
The Area Business Consultant will promote C&A marketing services in the assigned territory and work together with clients to achieve their desired goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a robust territory business plan by analyzing the business and the competitive landscape.
Enhance HCP awareness of our services offered or our clients’ products and services.
Achieve call activity and adherence targets; as well as financial goals for assigned territory.
Utilize effective consulting techniques and marketing strategies to create and expand demand for promoted products and services.
Demonstrate advanced business acumen and granular account acumen management skills.
Work effectively with the team to leverage all available resources within the company to achieve projected goals.
Arrange and coordinate effective promotional programs within assigned territory.
Education and Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in marketing or communications.
Minimum of 5 or more years of Biotech/Pharmaceutical and/or Medical Device sales experience.
In-depth product and territory knowledge within the industry with strong existing customer relationships.
Consistent track record of successfully achieving/exceeding sales targets, with demonstrated success in growing a territory's business over time.
Must have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of healthcare industry and commercial managed care; experience consulting in the healthcare industry preferred.
Minimum two years of business-to-business sales or consulting.
Ability to travel overnight for territory coverage (if applicable) and/or for company meetings.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
