Account Service Representative II (Current Employee) – Gulfport, MS – February 9, 2018
Sometimes it seems like the company doesn't really know what it wants to be. In terms of compensation, it has gone downhill for the front-line retail reps, meanwhile I doubt the VP's are making any less. Inconsistency on what they say they want to do and how they reward for doing those things. Complicated policies.
Retail Sales Representative II (Former Employee) – Mobile, AL – February 5, 2018
I ultimately quit working at C Spire because I was stuck working at a very unsafe mall in a kiosk by myself. I never felt safe--particularly at night--working for this company. Multiple times I had to call security to escort angry customers away. Multiple times I was verbally threatened while at work. Multiple times I witnessed brutal fights break out several feet away from me in the mall.
Consumer Service Representative (Current Employee) – Meadville, MS – January 21, 2018
I have learned a lot at C Spire from way of thinking, ways of negotiation, how to to build rapport, how to handle escalation, how to manage several different applications while on a call with a customer to reach a resolution. I handles payments, technical questions, revenue questions and even some roaming questions.
Account Representative (Former Employee) – Jackson, MS – December 14, 2017
I worked at C spire for about a year. There are opportunities to advance but they are all based on how well you do as a Rep. Achieve you goals, suck up a bit and you should be ok. Management is ok but the job is very competitive.
Customer Care Rep (Former Employee) – Ridgeland, MS – November 13, 2017
I assisted customers with cellular phone issues. I assisted them with understanding their bills. I assisted customers with their home phones as well. I learned how to work with many people and work together and solve our customers issues. It was a very diverse company. The hardest part of the job was needing assistance from the manager and them not wanting to help. Most enjoyable part was working with many people and solving the customers issues.
Culture is changing to a more fun centered atmosphere
Test Automation Analyst (Current Employee) – Ridgeland, MS – September 24, 2017
The management team is making a great effort to enhance C Spire's position as a great place to work by offering more opportunities for cross-functional and interdepartmental collaboration on projects outside of an employee's assigned areas.
Consumer Solutions Advocate (Former Employee) – Meadville, MS – August 31, 2017
This is a very fast paced and multi tasking job. It does get stressful but it teaches you a lot and the benefits is great. If you meet goal at the end of the year with your stats you are guaranteed a raise.
Account Service Representative (Former Employee) – Brookhaven, MS – May 23, 2017
Customers are always right, reps don't have much say in what goes on. Customers can curse you and sling things at you but you just have to smile and take it. Very stressful environment, but with great benefits. Don't expect to get off work in time for anything as you never will. Long hours, with no breaks except for lunch.
CSpire Wireless Indirect Sales Assistant (Former Employee) – Ridgeland, MS – January 13, 2017
I would start the day off doing some data entry assignments. It would be the numbers recorded in the stores. My supervisor, the indirect sales president, would ask me to organize everything for the weekly report on performance. I would go to the stores two times a week to participate in sales so I could get both sales rep experience and shadow my supervisor. Once every two weeks, I would travel on a road trip to do market-real estate research on potential new areas to build new stores. Once every two weeks, we would go to an organization to do some volunteer work.
Sales Team Leader (Current Employee) – Flowood, MS – January 8, 2017
A company that has provided me with a great base of sales, communication, and customer service skills, to grow from. I feel that I can handle any situation that may arise at a job, due to my experiences at Cspire.
repair technician II- (Former Employee) – Ridgeland, MS – November 8, 2016
my last 2 years were spent building and operating the accessory distribution warehouse. I worked at the cell phone repair center, steady pace, great co-workers. the management were great, performed at the best of the abilities within corporate constraints. our division was not condusive to advancement. very limited room to advance. the people that we serviced and reapirs that we were able to perform were the most satisfying part of the job.
