Good place to get your CDL
student (Current Employee) – Salt Lake City, UT – October 19, 2016
School is straight forward. they teach you the skills needed to pass cdl examination. day 1 is paper work. day 2, 3 and 4 you spend learning to shift, drive and turn properly (6am-4pm). day 5,6,7 is spent learning to back (6am-5pm) however range is open till 9pm for those who want extra practice. testing is scheduled starting on the 8th day. if your not testing your either on the road practicing or on the range practicing. lodging provided dorm style 8 per room (bunk beds). facility is nice. restaurant, basketball court, theater, couple TV rooms, game room, gym, shuttle to Wal-Mart and surrounding stores. arrive determined and listen to what the instructors/ trainers say and there's no reason you shouldn't pass very knowledgeable. my otr trainer had 3 million miles experience. just passed Monday orientation on Wednesday after that you wait for a trainer to begin phase 1 of training (180hrs). waiting time ranges. ive heard people have left right after orientation and others had to wait weeks I guess it depends.
nice facility, knowledgeable instructors
low pay, rooms stink, have to provide your own food
