Regional Director of Business Development

Campus Cooks is a rapidly growing company serving the food service needs of fraternities and sororities on college campuses throughout the country for nearly 20 years. As we grow the individual in this position will have the opportunity to grow with the company as we have a very strong track record of promoting from within.

Responsibilities will include making presentations to individuals and small groups, to making presentations to groups of 100 people. You will be presenting to a diverse group of people from students, to house directors, to alumni advisors. The position will require interaction with the operations team, as well as, the sales and marketing team. Coordinating special events (cookouts, guest dinners, etc) will also be part of the requirements. With the assistance of the marketing department you will be responsible for lead generation and qualification, sales presentations, completing transactions, and transitioning the client to the operations department. You will also be responsible for weekly reporting and inputting all potential clients in a customer resource database. Overnight travel will be required.

The successful candidate will be a very outgoing, likable person. It will be important that the individual will have the drive to work independently with limited supervision. Being a member of a fraternity or sorority will make a considerable impression and having a bachelors degree is a must. Enjoyment of event planning, a passion to help customers, and the ability to articulate thoughts effectively, are all traits that will not only make a successful candidate, but also a successful employee. The position will be based in Indiana as the region will include Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, and Kentucky.

The job is full time career position. There is a base salary of $45,000 with commission on all sales. A car allowance and communication allowance is included, and travel expenses are paid. A 401K program is available. Group health insurance is currently unavailable but we are working on putting a program in place.
