A Physician Support Representative works closely with physician’s offices and on occasion the customer to obtain all required documentation pertaining to our customers’ orders.
MAIN TASKS – PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage Fax queues daily
Make outbound calls to physicians’ offices and customers.
Take inbound calls from customers and physicians’ offices as required.
Process routine Rx documentation requests on a continuous basis.
Check workflows daily to ensure backlog is kept to a minimum and notify
OTHER DUTIES AS AND WHEN REQUIRED
Handling telephone inquiries from customers and physicians offices regarding
Receiving and checking prescription requests.
Responding to patient requests for information about their account status.
Photocopying and mailing as required.
Assisting Customer Service if call volumes exceed staffing levels.
An understanding of confidentiality is required and the ability to use own
Attention to detail is a must.
The person must be an excellent communicator both spoken and written, also
Sales background a plus
Must have PC skills – will be able to use basic Word, Excel and e-mail.
Must be comfortable with following processes/procedures.
