PROP MASTER, Elementary - August 22, 2015
There is no such thing as a typical day of work. I graduated 4 years of film school and everything I learned was on the job. The hardest part are the 12-16 hour days, 5 days a week. It's enjoyable to be artistic and to dress a set that will be filmed for a tv show or movie. I would prefer to work 3 days a week and teach 2. The weekly hours working in the film business are 60-70. Working in the movie business can be very rewarding but the hours are what make the career something you physically can't do up until retirement age.
