Great Challenges and wonderful co-workers
Data Administrator (Former Employee) –  Fairview Heights, ILSeptember 24, 2015
I have enjoyed working with all of my colleagues and love that we could all work as a team and individually on projects. This position at times require's you to learn things on your own with no training which I like for I am always up for a challenge and will never give up till I have mastered the task.
Pros
Wonderful colleagues
Cons
Contract work so the time is limited instead of having a steady job.

No secret that it's the military. Expect a strong structure, brotherhood, and a lot of hurry up and wait tasks. Overall a great jump start experience.

Lead Database Administrator (Current Employee) –  kuwaitNovember 6, 2015
With ITT employees don't equally enjoy the benefits and opportunities for advancement. However, management was always ready to assist with any issue that involves an employee and stay with it until completed to the satisfaction of the customer.

Good place to learn IT industry
QA/Test Engineer (Current Employee) –  Belton, TXSeptember 3, 2015
If you are interested in the IT industry, but don't have much experience or a diploma from a big university, great place to work. They do a good job selling you on the work/life balance early on, but honestly, it comes down to the project you work on. I have worked more weekends than I have had off since I started. Average work week is ~45-50hrs instead of 40.

Large Company with great local management
Administrative Assistant - 05/Apr (Current Employee) –  San Angelo, TXSeptember 9, 2015
Even though CGI is a large company, the local management makes you feel part of a valued team. The benefits are excellent and my experience has been positive. If I was willing to move to another area, there might be a CGI position available there as well.
Pros

Not a good culture for growth. This is simply a giant company that goes around eating up other smaller companies and spitting them out.

Pipe Welder (Former Employee) –  Loxley, ALAugust 7, 2015
A typical days work includes a high amount of welding. Some days got extremely hot and others were extremely cold. I learned many things like hands on the job training and more experience welding pipe with SMAW and GTAW. The hardest part of this job is surviving the weather conditions. The most enjoyable part of this job was welding Tig pipe and getting paid to do so.
Pros
The money was good
Cons
Long work days and no healthcare provided

Horrible health benefits but decent place to grow your skills
Senior Consultant (Current Employee) –  Fairfax, VAAugust 6, 2015
Fairly young support staff and long tenure with a broad group of individuals that have the salary to support the self funded health plan. Training is plenty and the commute depends on the position, location as they have opportunities across the DC Metro area.

During an interview, ask a lot of questions and then ask to speak to the manager's manager. Do not rely on having one or two levels of persons you speak to. The culture you will experience is really based upon the management you work under. In the Fairfax office, the diversity is about 85% white, 10% Indian/Arabic and 5% other.
Pros
It can be a steady job
Cons
Sometimes too big to pay attention to what is important, you.
