The Cleveland Eye Clinic & affiliated companies are recruiting a full-time Human Resource Manager.
This position is responsible for all HR Administration, Employee Relations, Training, HR Compliance, Employee Safety, Emergency Management, Employee Performance Evaluations and Retention Programs etc... The job holder must provide functional leadership, advice, counsel and expertise to the board of directors, senior leadership and middle management regarding Human Resources. This position reports to the Chief Executive Officer.
A minimum of eight years of direct Human Resource experience is required. We expect the candidate to be a “hands-on” Manager who possesses the following skills:
Project Management – Must demonstrate past project management experience. Must be able to manage multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines. Sense of urgency, excellent follow-through, strong attention to detail, solid planning, time management, decision-making and organization skills are a must.
Mentoring Skills – Will provide leadership and guidance to coordinators, supervisors, managers and directors on adhering to sound HR principles.
Customer Service - Strong customer service orientation and ability to interact effectively with diverse group of senior leadership and middle managers and ensures their staff does too.
Policy and Procedure Development – Proven track record of creating and maintaining compliant and appropriate HR systems, from annual updates to the Employee Manual to developing new polices.
