The Account Executive is an outside sales position and will achieve sales goals through referrals and various forms of marketing and sales presentations that define the value of our clients and their products to key decision makers. The Account Executive is responsible for influencing the buying decision, while exceeding the customer's expectations for service, knowledge and professionalism.
Responsibilities
Develop a strong customer network, effectively present consumer products to new clients, and close new business.
Identify and qualify sales opportunities through relationships, aggressive prospecting, networking, and lead generation and follow up.
Build relationships with key decision makers in target accounts by visiting with them in the market.
Effectively utilize all available company resources, as necessary, in support of driving qualified sales opportunities to closure.
Keeps management informed of sales progress and competitive activities by submitting activity and results reports and territory analyses on a regular basis.
Manage daily activity through company provided technology platform.
Overall goal: Achieve and exceed sales goals in the assigned territory.
Qualifications
1+ years prior success in a business to business sales environment.
Outgoing professional personality with the ability to build relationships quickly.
Ability to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
Reliable daily transportation.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Knowledge of basic computer skills and ability to learn appropriate software.
