This was a consulting company. They were bottom line oriented. Contracts were sometimes challenging. No major push to keep employees busy.
Senior Consultant (Former Employee) – Albany, NY – February 2, 2017
This company was a typical consulting firm. Work environment at client sites was often not idea. The account representatives were very involved in the consultants work lives and made frequent contact to ensure that the consultant was content with his assignment.
The variety of contracts added to my knowledge of different ways of doing business and a variety of different businesses.
Other than the account rep, there was little or no contact with other management.
Frequent team social events, immediate management were very people oriented.
Little opportunity to select assignments, often skills were misrepresented which made performance an issue, no bench time which meant that you were let go if you were not on contract.
Ex- Employee (Former Employee) – New York – January 7, 2013
1. Owned by Republicans (people from other cultures should not apply in this company as you will be hired but given the worst treatment) 2. It is all about work and work (if you're someone who can keep your head down and work all day) 3. More than 60% of staff is hired through top management reference (relatives, neice, nephew etc). 4. Perfect company for high school drop outs, close to retirement, or no aim in life personalities. 5. No salary increaments, no appreciation, no motivation, and no holiday parties.
