COR Clearing LLC is a national securities broker-dealer with self clearing operations headquartered in Omaha, NE. An entrepreneurial perspective and interest in financial services are important for this critical position.
The Reports Analyst would be responsible for data analysis and reporting, specifically as it relates to external reporting for COR clients and supporting internal reporting. Responsible for the monitoring of reporting, ensuring reports contain correct data, supporting all users, and administering the Crystal Reports system.
*Proficiency in compiling data and creating reports, including expertise with Crystal Reports, SQL Server query, Microsoft Access and Excel. Prefer some SQL Server Reporting Services experience.
*Generating and compiling ad hoc reports and complex data extractions including multiple tables and ODBC connections from several sources.
*Handle report through entire process – scoping report project and providing time frame and hours quote, report creation, compliance approval, client approval and scheduling through Crystal Server.
*Maintain and update report lists in Crystal Server; optimize or improve performance of reports when necessary.
*Working with staff to determine availability of data, offer alternatives when data not available and troubleshoot report issues.
*Provide internal customer service to various departments; must be able to translate technical information to non-technical audiences.
*Understand all reports and work to document and administer to maximize reporting efficiency.
Crystal Reports: 4+ years’ administration (including install/upgrade/configuration/security) with solid understanding of all areas of Crystal Reports reporting
Microsoft Access: 2+ years
Microsoft Excel: 2+ years
SQL Server queries / query analyzer: 2+ years with ability to write queries
SQL Server Reporting Services: operational knowledge of SSRS
