Reports to Vice President of Business Development
Work with management to develop and promote the Crawford brand to potential customers, current customers and employees.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, manage and lead direct marketing strategies supporting the company and partner objectives.
Work with management to develop an action plan to accomplish marketing strategies as well as a reliable system to measure results.
Manage programs and promotions leveraging all marketing disciplines that maximize market awareness and generate business opportunities.
Conduct business analysis, surveys and reporting pertaining to company needs and customer market.
Coordinate all marketing and branding activities including acquisitions and the opening of new locations.
Oversee all internal and external marketing communications for branding, advertising, and merchandising; provide a corporate coordinated structure for promotional and marketing activities.
Establish annual marketing budget, including, but not limited to, associates, major events, promotions, material, and market development funds. Coordinate and administer all marketing funds and expenses at both a corporate and local level
Serve as primary public relations writer and editor for company.
Minimum Bachelors Degree in Marketing or Business or equivalent experience
5-7 years' experience in traditional and online marketing communications required
Minimum 3-5 years experience with an emphasis in strategic planning, market analysis, brand management and budgeting
Minimum 3 years of graphic design experience
Ability to develop content and draft copy for marketing campaigns and channels
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (Cont.)
Design/ update presentations for sales and marketing efforts
(Advanced PowerPoint Proficiency)
Assist in the management of corporate websites, engage in social media channels, including creating posts, running promotions, and socializing content
Familiarity with CMS platforms, Word, Excel and general office applications
Prior experience handling market analysis for specific regions
Experience in developing corporate publications, company newsletter, line sheets, company bio, etc.
Responsible for marketing strategies with quantifiable results
Experience in electrical distribution preferred but not required
Position requires 25-50% travel
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Must have strong analytical and communication abilities. Must be a team player who desires to create winning market strategies. Must demonstrate a general understanding of the wholesaling industry and market trends, along with strong business marketing skills. Experience in graphic design, marketing strategies, and desk top publishing is preferred. Strong technology and computer skills required, particularly in spreadsheets, data bases, Word, Excel and Power Point.
