Rapidly growing clinic with offices in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and West Hempstead is looking for an outgoing, motivated, and bright individual to join as the sole PA in the practice. Starting out it would be per diem 1-2 days per week doing primarily new patient evaluations and followups to identify patients to refer for pain management procedures. I have taught other PAs the procedures such as epidural injections so the right candidate would also be able to learn these procedures (triggers, facets, epidurals, joint injections, fluoro, ultrasound guided etc) and assist with surgery (discectomy). Ultimately if you choose, this could grow into a full time position very quickly as the practice is rapidly expanding and you would become my fulltime PA working in the Manhattan office 2-3 days/wk and also joining me at satellite offices such as Queens, Long Island and Brooklyn.
Right now we are looking for someone that has at least some pain management experience, especially treating WC/NF type accident injuries and comfortable in a fast paced environment. That type of experience could be as little as a rotation in school for someone that has just graduated. Prior physical medicine/physiatry, ortho, neuro, or neurosurg experience would also be useful for this position.
Please respond by email and include your resume in the body of the email as well as a short description of how you're a good fit for the position.
Bilingual spanish/english preferred.
