Pros: 401K, Employee Discount
Cons: Impossible Workload, Lack of payroll, Integrity of Corporate Management
A multi-billion dollar, Fortune 10, Leader in it's field company should NOT have to use slogans like "It is what it is" to shuffle the problems under the rug. This company is run solely on the stock price and ensuring the CEO can get every penny he can on the hard work of colleagues in the stores. Store Managers, the only salaried individuals in the stores, are required to pick up all the extra work that cannot be done because there is no payroll to use at store level. Staff is stressed out because they are not trained to do the job they were hired as a result of no payroll. Payroll is the hottest topic at all levels and everyone agrees it is an issue, but the term "gravity" is used to halt any discussions. The most common topic during the 2015 Employee Engagement survey was Payroll and the company has said they will do nothing about this so pick something else to work on.
