Cadence Group was formed in 1988 to provide computer consulting, project management and business communications services to the private sector. In 1991, the Board of Directors recognized the value that a company with expertise in both computer consulting services and library services could offer. In 1992, Cadence Group successfully began providing services to federal and state government agencies. Cadence Group has the necessary government agreements to conduct business with the federal or local governments. This includes a five-year GSA schedule contract and registrations with PRO- Net and the Central Contractor Registration System of the Department of Defense.
In 1996, Cadence Group changed its focus and began to fully utilize the blend of library science, research and technology skills to offer professional services and technology solutions that enable clients to easily obtain and manage information.
