Waitress/cleaner (Former Employee), West DraytonOctober 22, 2014
Pros: working within a good team
Cons: there were days when it was really quiet the cafe
On a typical day I would clean the cafe and make sure it looks very well presented, i would make refreshments such as coffees teas milkshakes etc. I would serve customers their food and take orders and stock the shelves.

Loved this job! Was a good vibe and enviroment!
Cafe Worker (Former Employee), Hamilton, NOctober 6, 2014
Pros: the pay and the all around good vibes!
Cons: sometimes get bored waiting for the next customer
Setting everything up, help with the food preparation, Hygiene (e.g cleaning hands, benches, cutlery etc), wiping down the tables, benches, restacking the shelves, cash handling, doing the dishes and on the register. We'll have certain tasks too do and when we're finished the job too just help others. Their was about 5 co-workers who were very independent – more... and experienced! They helped a lot and did their jobs really well. Also kind and patient too those who need help. The hardest part of the job would have too be setting up the café because it took forever! But I enjoyed all the good vibes with the co-workers and customers. – less

cafe.com (Former Employee), Chester, ENGAugust 3, 2014
Pros: for break i got a chooce of the meau for my lunch
Cons: the hours was managable
A typical day at café.com was knowing you was going to be on your feet a lot and running around getting food/drinks to tables.
At café.com o learned a lot about was how to use a coffee machine, learning how to make customers feel wanted and enjoying there time at café.com, also I learned how to make different types of café foo.
all my co-workers was – more... friendly, made you fee welcome when new to the job, helped you out when you needed to be and all very good team workers.
the hardest park of working at café.com was when it got busy because it was such a popular place to go for teenagers, adults, business meeting and also adults with young children.
the most enjoyable part at café.com was meeting a lot of friendly people and children, talking to them and making them happy whilst enjoying there time at café.com. – less

I do find the job i do, enjoyable and satisfying.
Cook (Current Employee), Biggleswade, ENGAugust 5, 2013
Pros: i get to cook a nice, tasty lunch for myself, or make a nice fresh sandwich each day, which i enjoy.
Cons: i don't always get to eat it straight waay, because the customers start coming in again.
A typical day at work, includes starting with preping, and making ready for the day ahead. We serve many customers from all walks of life. It is hot in the summer and cold in the winter, and can be very fast moving, but at the end of the day, very satisfiying. You learn something new every day, which can be fun. There is no such thing as perfect, because – more... i think there is always room for improvement, and this in my mind is a good way of, making things that bit better for the future. I do front of house, and can do all aspectes of the job. I am also a key holder, and go in one day a week, and work alone untill one of the other workers comes in. I work with three other workers, whom i get on well with. They all do different hours of work, but i am full time. There isn't anything hard about the job. Some times we get difficult customers, but this can be part of any job, and isn't a problem. There are many things i enjoy about the job, such as making people, that come in unhappy, go out with a smile on their face. It's nice when people come up to me, and tell me they really enjoyed their food. – less

its can expand abit more cause when you walk in you bang your head on the ceiling. It can knock the prices down abit more has quite a few come in but if he knocks the prices down he will get more people in and get more money taken in. The manager he is a very nice guy he lets you have free drinks and free lunch he has got quite a few places on in Devon – more... and he is doing quite well for himself. i learned how to take money from the costumers and how to work the till and how to be so polite to the costumers. the other workers there were nice aswell they always smile and good to have a good laugh with. – less
