Good Ol boy system.
Customer Service Assistant (Former Employee) –  San Diego, CAJune 6, 2014
The people here are great to work with. Management has a few things to learn on the side of Human Resources and how to deal with their associates. The benefits are great, 401k, Vacation and Sick time. The banking system is very antiquated and could use some updating. Job security is non existent here. One day you can be on top and the other day walking out the door. It's very good ol boy system.
Pros
separated sick and vacation time
Cons
very antiquated system of banking.

Collateral Analyst (Loan Specialist II) (Former Employee) –  Los Angeles, CAOctober 4, 2013
The bank operates with a minimum of staff, therefore it is necessary to stay on top of learning opportunities with an eye toward expanding your skill set. Management has an open door policy and encourages sharing of ideas to improve operations. There are quite a few opportunities for growth and management encourages it.
Pros
management is supportive, excellent education opportunities
Cons
spotty benefits, promotion opportunities are few and far between

Branch Operations Specialist II (Former Employee) –  San Diego, CAApril 5, 2013
As a Branch Operations Specialist you support your market area in many areas. You can be assigned to work in a branch for a day or a month. You need to be fully trained in all ares (loans, operations, and sales) to ensure you can help in any situation. I learned how to be extremely flexible, and work with many different types of people. The hardest part of the job was traveling up to 2 hours to get to the branch that needed help. Training is excellent, and was a fun place to work. Management is knowledgeable, and professional.
Pros
small bank feel, great training, and incentives

Depends on who you work with since all jobs are similar in many ways and different in others. Just want your ps and qs since a lot of workers have been working there for over 20 plus years.
