As a consultative sale representative, you will be responsible for expanding the business in the communities serviced by our home care office. You will be responsible for generating referrals for home care by building relationships with physicians, hospital discharge planners, home health and hospice agencies, long term care, independent and assisted living facilities, fiduciaries, and other community resources. Responsibilities include market analysis, developing consultative sales strategies, benchmarks and plans, conducting consultative sales calls, and evaluating results and effectiveness of consultative sales activity. The consultative sales representative will support business development activities and help establish strong relationships with new and existing referral sources.
This position requires an individual who is highly motivated, results driven, and able to develop and build strong, lasting relationships. Excellent planning, organization and presentation skills are critical. Recent healthcare marketing or sales experience is preferred. The ideal candidate will have established healthcare contacts and be able to readily network in the community.
Essential qualifications include:
We prefer at least one (1) year recent sales or liaison experience in the health care industry, preferably in home care
Bachelor's degree - preferred
LVN a plus
Proven ability to develop and implement a sales and marketing plan
Evidence of achieving referral and admission goals within the market
Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills
