Many Angry Ex Employees
Student Researcher (Current Employee), Sacramento, CANovember 15, 2014
Pros: flexable schedules
Cons: personalilties of the management, working around chemicals.
Working in aviation ground support is an exciting job. Driving the trucks is awsome. Working around the airplanes is more awsome. Unfortunately this company suffered from an inherently disgruntled management chain,, which translated into mistreatment of its employees on a regular basis. The culture of the people was questionable at best and the opportunity for advancement/ pay raise was non existent. It was an experience that I wouldn't trade for anything though because it taught me to stick up for myself and not get walked on taken advantage of.

Research Assistant/McNair Scholar (Former Employee), Sacramento, CAAugust 17, 2013
Pros: flexibility, learning, leadership opportunities
Cons: university is not funded that well
A research assistant/McNair scholar is a coveted position as it is but to be paid for this work is the icing on the cake. Since I love school this seemed like a natural progression for me. I am very satisfied with my experience.
