A typical day at work for a sales associate as my self at Calypso St. Barth in Southampton, NY would be clocking into work with a decent amount of time before 10 am. After clocking in the associates are responsible, a long with the key holder, to open to store. This process in involves checking the inventory and sales floor that they match the criteria for merchandising. The associates and the key holder then open the drawers to the register and count the drawers in and make sure we have change available for customers later. We would clean the sales floor and then make sure that all inventory available is put on the floor for the customer to view. The hardest part of my last job during the day would be maintaining the floor after a big sale. I most enjoyed my co-workers at Calypso St. Barth in Southampton, they were helpful in advancing my person-to-person skills and communication skills. The part I enjoyed most about my last job was the product knowledge and the environmentally sustainable ways the clothing was made and marketed to the, customer.
