One of the worst companies I have ever worked for period.
Systems Engineer (Former Employee) –  Belle Plaine, MNAugust 23, 2016
Do not walk but run away from this organization, just not on the grass. This company has a big problem with management, most of management does not have any integrity and will not stand up for their employees. When their employees question their decisions we are met with just do it, rather than given a legitimate business reason of why. Management also has a huge case of do as I say and not as I do. All of the management in the IT department came from much larger organizations and does not understand that in a well oiled machine policies and procedures are well defined but in a smaller department you have to me more diverse and be able to address more than just one thing. They also come up with some ideas that you have to real them back into reality and explain that there are ramifications of that decision and that the small company business culture will not accept that decision without fallout. Advise to management is listen to the talent you hire and stop making everyone jump through hoops just to prove that your decision was not the correct course of action.
Pros

Inventory Control Manager (Current Employee) –  Le Sueur, MNAugust 19, 2016
Cambria is a good place to work, especially for single person trying to make money and gain opportunity. Middle Management family person on the other hand is a little less rewarding. Upper management is experienced and holds people very accountable which is a refreshing inspiration. They are always trying to keep up with leading in wages in the area, for the operator level. Constant growth and opportunity available. The owner seems to care and invest in the people and building.

Cambria is a great product but the company is sometimes hard to deal with. Team work is hard to come by below the management level.

Lack of effective management
Business Intelligence Mgr& Enterprise Arch (Current Employee) –  Belle Plaine, MNMay 21, 2016
Executive leadership manages through fear. Many meetings require team members being scolded and put in place by managers that are more concerned with maintaining an image of infallibility instead of knowledge. Very difficult to advance unless you have a personal connection with managers.

Terrible negative atmosphere people are just a number here.
Maintenance Technician (Current Employee) –  MinnesotaApril 30, 2016
The Cambria Plant in Le Sueur is the worst job I have ever had. My Supervisor would get mad if we asked for any time off, and was in general just a terrible person. All they want is you to work all day everyday with no concern for your family or personal life. The insurance is a joke and Blue Cross Blue Shield made the policy just for Cambria which is terrible coverage. Company is ego driven and was a waste of my time. They tell you everything you want to hear until your hired, then they backpedal and lie about what you were originally told. The plant is going through amazing growth and their product is amazing but it comes at a great cost, which is not passed down to the ones that make it happen on the daily. They are more worried about the company image than taking care of the people that work in their unhealthy and dangerous factory.
Pros
Paid lunch if you start. Most need to leave to keep sanity.
Cons
ego driven all male management team treat people like dirt

Horrible place to work for. Better make sure you're ok with giving up your life before you work for them.
N/A (Former Employee) –  Le Sueur, MNApril 23, 2016
This place just takes and takes from you and never gives back. Everyone is two-faced. Don't ever think about advancing with the company. Their managers are horrible bullies. I guess you can't blame them because they only follow the mentality of the owner. Don't be fooled by these people.
Pros
Great product

Worked here in Houston for 6 months and it was the worst job I ever had. Manager is a bully and every other word is the f word. Expected to have no personal life and expected to work sick. All I can say is don't do it you will hate your job and be
Miserable. Training is horrible too!
Pros
Pay is ok

TERRIBLE company to work for. The management team are all men and don't like to hire women for managing positions. The only woman is terrible at managing with poor communications and interpersonal skills, socially awkward to be exact. They micromanage and over work you. They don't care about you as an individual and set unrealistic expectations. POOR training.

A company that required allot of hard work but was compensated decently. Everything good as far as the company goes, the management was not the best I have ever worked for. They didn't know to much on how to handle employees professionally.

Formulation Operator (Former Employee) –  Le Sueur, MNJanuary 2, 2016
The work environment, pay, and horrible medical benefits to not make up for the hassle there. You have a chance to get silicosis (they don't even offer good medical benefits or hazard pay), the work is extremely dirty and you are subject to psoriasis and other skin conditions (again, horrible medical and they don't even offer jump suits), the people are lazy and get away with it and the management thinks they are better than everyone else. Don't waste your time.

Production Distributor Operator (Current Employee) –  Le Sueur, MNDecember 28, 2015
They have a supervisors meeting every month, but doesn't amount to anything because they don't mentor young supervisors or provide the necessary training. then when something goes wrong, mangement is hard on everyone. Worst of the bunch is butch and (the bald guy). Both need to get a real job, been in manufacturing too long.
Pros
good pay
Cons
very expensive health plan, mgmt use four letter words alot, abusive work environment

Commercial Sales Representative (Current Employee) –  New YorkDecember 10, 2015
Cambria is professional and progressive manufacturing company.

you decide what to make of your experience... it is hard to be miserable here because they treat everyone respectfully and there is open dialogue.

Hardest part is all the family and friend hires thru out the company and some are not well suited for their role though others are.

They try very hard to be a very fine company and I think they are on a good path for success.
Pros
well staff, management is bright and the company strives for excellence
Cons
arrogance with some leaders

Coordinator (Former Employee) –  Eden Prairie, MNNovember 3, 2015
There's a lot of egos and unprofessional employees from all levels at this company. The communication is horrible and everyone works in their own silos which doesn't help in achieving much. They expect everyone to work around the clock, and also expect extra time working events during the week and weekends.
Pros
it's centrally located in the cities
Cons
no dental coverage and benefits aren't great, expected to work even on vacations, expected to work events even though it's not communicated up front.
