Part of the Academic Support team at The Cambridge Institute of International Education, the Copywriter will produce relevant, engaging and industry-leading online and offline content. The right candidate possesses a solid track record of creating focused copy for ads, web (including mobile), emails, social media, print and more in the education industry.

The copywriter will play a critical role within a fast-paced environment in a fast-growing company. The copywriter understands the use of business objectives, audience and positioning to deliver key messages for each project, maintaining messaging consistency and brand integrity. With proven experience writing for a range of audiences and media in the education industry, the right candidate understands the value of the brand and can translate complex concepts into attention-grabbing copy that meets campaign goals.

Key Responsibilities
Serve as copywriter on a wide range of marketing communications projects

· Generate unique ideas for online and offline content, including landing pages, articles, blog posts, press releases, newsletters, case studies, email, videos and other media

· Edit copy where needed

· Routinely manage content for the company website, social media pages, blog and other identified projects
Work with designers to deliver the right combination of copy and design for each project

Work with other teams to understand needs and objectives, execute projects, measure outcomes, and fine-tune approaches

Skills and Qualifications

  • 3-5 years’ experience as copywriter either in an agency or in-house
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills in online and offline media, including social media and blog-writing experience (please provide online and offline portfolio)
  • Experience working collaboratively within a team
  • Proven experience producing quality work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Experience adapting to shifting priorities and goals
  • Experience writing both consumer-driven and business-to-business copy
  • Proven experience writing online copy to achieve goals for search engine optimization
  • Experience in education industry, with an understanding of international education
  • Bachelor's degree in related field (English, Creative Writing, Journalism, Marketing or Advertising)
