BENEFITS MANAGER (Former Employee) –  Cambridge, MDSeptember 13, 2015
Management does whatever they want. If you don't fit in with the "in" crowd then you won't stay long. I enjoyed the job and the work I did very much and loved every single one of my employees.

Good culture of friendly people
Mechanical Designer/Drafter (Current Employee) –  Cambridge, MDJuly 23, 2015
One good thing about working there is the family like atmosphere. They put a premium on continued growth. and they offer opportunities to learn new skills. Hardest part of the job are the deadlines. Hiring new people is like pulling teeth so a 60 hour work week is expected if you're salary. But at the end of a project you can see a piece of equipment or a building to see what your hard work went into.
Pros
Company crab feast, good benefits
Cons
High turnaround.

not a good place to work
plant worker (Former Employee) –  cambridge,md.August 1, 2014
Job security is only for friends of management.Cambridge used to be a place people would love to work at but under current supervision and management nobody wants to work there. As far as job security they have people on layoff they havrn't offered jobs to but are advertising for workers that at least two of the people laid off could do.Like I said earlier job security is only for managements friends.Thier current situation is proof.

Production Manager (Former Employee) –  Cambridge, MDFebruary 27, 2013
Cambridge International is the world's largest manufacturer of metal conveyor belting. They have grown the company through innovation and re-positioning their core products in new markets. The use of conveyor belting has successfully launched them into the architectural market and is also the foundation for their Environmental Technologies Division. During my time there I have learned a lot about leadership, dedication, innovation, and overall business acumen. It is a fast paced environment where performance is rewarded and recognized.

HR Manager (Former Employee) –  Cambridge MdFebruary 2, 2013
No one in the HR department will ever be able to work with the director who is a bipolar micomanager. The executive team only brings in their friends and family and they have the highest management turnover I've ever seen. They are very unprofessional.

Do your homework before applying...
Human Resources Manager (Former Employee) –  Cambridge, MDJanuary 2, 2013
The pay is below average, job security is questionable depending on your manager, the turnover rates in the HR department are outrageous and little to nothing is being done to change the root cause.
Pros
benefits
Cons
pay, job security, current leadership, turnover rates for office personnel, overall morale.
