Unforgettable Summer
Wilderness Trips Leader, Winslow, Maine, USA - October 11, 2012
A typical Day at work would be either preparing for or running a wilderness trip with any group of boys in the age range of 7 to 15. however when not on a trip or preparing helping with the day to day running of the camp and other sports. The management team where very supportive and helpful throughout the whole summer. The team of co-workers was a brilliant team and we all got along well which helped greatly with the job. The hardest part of the Job was it was nearly a 24/7 job as we lived in the same accommodation as the boys who attended the camp and got 1 day off a week so where nearly always on duty. The most enjoyable part was doing a job i loved and watching the boys who participated in the different trips enjoying themselves as well.
