Camp Seneca Lake

About Camp Seneca Lake

In recent years, Camp Seneca Lake alumni and friends of Camp Seneca Lake have helped enormously with donations to capital projects: building Susie's Place, the new Tuscarora recreation building; improving our softball field, adding an outdoor stage and building new villages. This generous support has helped build upon the great facility that you remember – more... as a camper.

Recently, the JCC Board of Directors has established a CSL Facilities Committee whose mission is to recommend to the Board of Directors a prioritized list of projects that need to be done at camp to assure that it will meet the needs of our campers 5, 10, and even 20+ years from now.

The committee, chaired by JCC Board member and father of CSL campers, Richard Gray, recently toured camp with Bill Disbrow, (our Camp Caretaker) and with John Golden, camp director. The list of needs is long, and with the help of this committee, we have prioritized them.

With the help of the CSL Facilities Committee we have identified one major capital project in addition to ongoing scholarship and endowment needs to ask you to support. After all, we want CSL standing tall for your kids, and eventually for theirs!

This year Camp Seneca Lake is setting a first-ever ambitious goal to raise $100,000 from our nearly 1000 CSL Alumni in honor of nearly 100 years of JCC Jewish Camping. All Money raised will go to CSL capital improvement of the athletic facilities at camp, including refurbishing the tennis courts and the sports court.

Please help us to preserve your camp for campers of today and tomorrow with a tax-deductible gift of $100 for 100 years of Jewish camping. We thank you in advance for your support at whatever level you are comfortable.

In return, you will have the satisfaction of helping to build upon the legacy of your CSL experience and provide for a genuine, supportive, and exciting camp community for many years to come. – lessMore from ZoomInfo »
