A great place to work.
Facilities (Current Employee) –  TexasNovember 18, 2016
I have been with the Campus family for over 2 years. I have been in the business for many year's and this is the best company by far I have been employed with. They are big in training thier employee's so they can promote from within. They have been in Student Housing longer than anyone in the industry. The benefit's package cannot be matched by anyone in the industry. They simply take care of their employee's.
Pros
Advancement, Paid Benefits, Training
Cons

Leasing Specialist (Former Employee) –  Durham, NCJune 27, 2016
It was a great experience to help start me off in sales. You have to be able to multitask. Also learn how to work in a stressful work environment. You have to get 5 leases a week which could be challenging at times. The thing I liked most is it helped you learn how to work in a office environment.
Pros
helped you become a multitasker
Cons
Cant leave until your done

Same as the Asset Campus Housing. This was the same property. They were a fun, aggressive, motivating company to work for.

Trying to strive for the best
General Manager (Former Employee) –  TexasOctober 7, 2015
Campus Apartments is essentially a good company however does not provide its employees with necessary training to be successful. They are trying to strive to be a good Student Housing company but they do not consider their people to be a strength. If they would invest in a standardized model for how all their properties should operate a lot of headaches would be saved.

As far as management, there is no true leadership. Their Property Managers are supposed to be their leaders but they do not provide adequate mentorship for individuals that are new to the company. The Regional Managers expect their staff to simply just know how to do things without taking the necessary time to train and develop the Property Managers.

They do pay well and offer great benefits that the company actually pays for.
Pros
Pay and Health Benefits
Cons
No Leadership

Great Team To Work With
Leasing Agent (Former Employee) –  Fayetteville, ARJune 6, 2014
Working all the shift with customers. Tours, phone calls, and walk-ins were most of the daily activities. We would canvas the residents about upcoming events, and be present at multiple events to advertise the property. Maintenance requests and rent issues would also be a large portion of the day. Selling the apartments was number one but we would sell via email, phone, and face to face. The maintenance crew are the best group of people I could have asked for. They not only are friendly but they go above and beyond for the residents. I loved meeting new people everyday and being challenged with new obstacles everyday as well.
Pros
Meeting New People

Short Breaks, Weak Management

The Company as a whole needs to rethink their mission
Leasing and Marketing Manager (Former Employee) –  Texas, OklahomaJanuary 17, 2012
The lack of customer service trickles down from the top levels of executives. The overal mission statement is never clearly defined, therefore leading to no mission at all.
The company as it is currently is on a path to destruction with no clear goals and a complete lack of appreciation for top performing lower levels of management.
Not only would I not go back to work for this company but I would recommend a new prospect to do the same. Look for a company with some foresight and determination.
