St Jean, QC (Former Employee), London, ON –
Pros: received exercise, education, comradeship
Cons: missing old friends back home (g/f)
ongoing education from our country and others. Physical and mental endurance. Being able to imply what is taught. Hardest part leaving family to go away. (not knowing) great comradeship from people across Canada. Great team cohesion.

money is good but its not worth the hassle
Cook (Former Employee), halifax ns –
Pros: money/ travel/ job security
Cons: too many hassles
when you join they will make all these promises about on how you will advance very quick through the ranks. but the truth is that no matter how hard you work, and how much you sail there will always be someone who is half the worker you are, and they will get promoted first,, the people that make the decisions do not care about you or your family

good room for advancement, lots of valuable training
Logistics Technician (Former Employee), all over canada –
Pros: excellent training, learning
Cons: it can affect your personal life.
There's no life like it. This is an amazing place to learn valuable skills you will keep with you for life. It can be physically demanding, but very rewarding. It's an excellent place to meet friends for life, but be prepared to have no social life if you want to progress. It's also a difficult place to raise a family. But there are many opportunities – more...  you won't get with any other employer. – less
