Capital Core is an established wholesaler of new and remanufactured transmission parts to businesses who do auto repairs for their customers. We have been based in the Columbus, Ohio area since 1981, with satellite locations in Detroit MI, Dayton OH and in Pittsburgh, PA.
This position is based at our corporate office in Columbus OH. No relocation is provided.
Outstanding opportunity for a motivated sales individual who is committed to providing world class customer service. This position requires a high level of self-direction and commitment in the generation of territory sales, as well as development in new markets as our growth continues. This position is primarily inside sales, with focus on relationships with both existing and new customers.
Qualifications: Must have at least two year of prior sales experience (auto-parts industry strongly preferred), a history as a dealer Parts Manager or, alternately, be in the automotive repair industry with an interest in moving into sales; must have the proven ability to develop and foster client relationships; must be able to multi-task while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and detail; must have a strong customer service focus on both internal and external customers; must have the drive and desire to learn the intricacies of auto transmissions and their various components (for all makes and models).
Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of customers.
Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
