About Capital Metro
Capital Metro and StarTran, Inc., agent for Capital Metro, offer a comprehensive benefits package. Employees are eligible for medical, dental and life insurance at competitive costs for themselves and dependents. Employees may choose from several medical plans, including HMOs.
Employees may set up a flexible spending plan or Section 125 savings account – more... for eligible medical, dental and daycare costs. Money is deducted from the employee's paycheck on a pre-tax basis. The election is made at the beginning of the plan year.
Full-time employees may also be eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan. Capital Metro contributes to the 401(k) plan for administrative employees. Bargaining employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) and pension plan after one year of full-time employment. Capital Metro contributes to the pension plan for bargaining employees.
Capital Metro and StarTran, Inc. offer vacation, sick leave and holiday benefits. Administrative employees may take vacation after six months of employment.
