Co-workers are Great, Travel Very Difficult.
Senior Implementation Analyst (Former Employee), San Antonio, TX –
Pros: great co-workers, very professional for customers.
Cons: management of new company not as professional, at carefusion.
Cardinal Health is and was a Good Company, when we Split off as CareFusion it changed and became a more difficult company to work for and Management became Impersonal and less Knowledgable.

Quality Control Chemist/Supervisor (Former Employee), Winchester, KY –
Pros: great social programs.
Cons: swing shifts was mandatory.
Cardinal Health was bought over by the blackstone investment group and the name was changed to Catalent.
The review I gave to Catalent is applicable to Cardinal heath as the management and core values remained the same. The major different is that there were more projects under Cardinal Health than under Catalent Pharma Solutions and that Catalent did – more...  not go with the mandatory swing shift. Also,Cardinal Health was more about the moral strength of her employees than Catalent. – less

Different Perks
Customer Service Specialist (Former Employee), Radcliff, KY –
Pros: insurance, vacation time
Cons: not employee friendly, not family friendly
I really enjoyed my job at Cardinal Health. The job is not hard, it gave me a real sense of pride being able to not only help the customer on the phone but helping the patient laying in the hospital bed as well. Most of the people are easy to get along with. There were several things that the company itself could've changed to make it more employee-friendly. – more...  The insurance is awesome and the vacation time is great. – less

Just a job, not a career
Warehouse receiving clerk 3 (Former Employee), Tolleson, AZ –
Good benefits but no advancement. Management is not at all understanding of personal health. It is a very rigid and sometimes cruel atmosphere.

Customer Service Representative (Current Employee), Radcliff, KY –
Pros: when it snowed they brought in lunch
Cons: 6 minutes personal time is all
Work was very micro managed, · Answer Pharmaceutical calls; accurately process orders for Retail Chain pharmacies
· Create and escalate service tickets to the Distribution Centers
· Search for products and call the manufacturer as needed to assist the customers
· Assists in over 170 customers per shift
· Awarded the “Striving for Excellence” award in – more...  March 2011 – less

Great Place To Work Overall!
Pharmacy Technician Extern (Current Employee), San Jose, CA –
Excellent environment to work at.

Supervising Pharmacists is very down to earth and very understandable about situations. IE: if you need to leave due to emergency, he will be very understanding.

Clearly explains tasks that need to be completed and gives guidance on proper technique to complete the tasks.

Executive Secretary, Sales and Marketing (Former Employee), Houston, TX –
I worked at the Houston office from 1987-1998 and left to work closer to home. I still have friends who work there and they still have good things to say about working there. I'm looking for a job right now and have already applied with them.

Locally it being run by familly memeber with lack of diversity vision
Warehouse Associate (Former Employee), charlotte, nc –
Pros: very organized
Cons: lack of team work, they push you to get the last cents they pay you, very low pay for the amount of work, lack of hr support
when work on the charlotte location I thought I found the right company. When working as an associate for couple of months I was promise to be move up when learning the process to a leading position and then realized that because of my nationality I was turned down by my Supervisor. I have years of experience in the management field/operations and recently – more...  graduated from college obtaining a bachelors degree in business and I still didn't qualify for a "leading position". They hired someone else from outside ( not hispanic ) and I was forced to leave. Now I am working for a well diversified organization, and bigger company that promote opportunities for hispanics like my.
The company's value said that they "promote a deversify environement" but you're not seeing any hispanic in the management or as a leader position. – less

Overall decent place to work. Very good with managing work/life balance.
Accounts Payable Specialist (Former Employee), Swedesboro, NJ –
Pros: mngmt was flexible with time off requests, free lunches were provided periodically, located only 13 miles from my home
Cons: occurance system in place, no room for personal growth, supervisors were under-qualified
Daily reports were done. Management was decent at not micro-managing. Not stringent to be tied down to specific break times. Learned a lot about the pharmaceutical distribution industry and inventory management/control. Also, exposed to systems that were new to me. The training I received was average. However, I was able to learn much on my own and – more...  then was able to train others on my discoveries. Co-workers were overall eficient, friendly and knowledgeable. I really enjoyed all of the learning experiences presented to me with this company. The hardest part was every 6 months when we did physical inventory (PI) of all warehouse merchandise. – less

Hazardous Chemical Picker (Former Employee), Waukegan, IL –
Pros: overall they treated there employees well.
Cons: no leadership.
Unplanned long hours where the company had you stay would interfere with home and family. Many workers where not certified to use power equipment due to them waiting too long for training, or manager never around to get trained.

Customer Service Representative (Former Employee), Norfolk, VA –
Pros: company picnics, and luncheons, and incintives for just doing your job
Cons: breaks were not long enough
A typical day is very calm, a steady work flow, and stress free. I learned the value of getting along with co workers and working together as a team, it makes a very productive work environment. The management was excellent, I had no real problems with management, I got along very well with my co-workers. There was mo hard part about the job unless people – more...  had their own personal issues such as not comprehending well. I enjoyed the Christmas parties – less
