RN, Case Manager (Former Employee) – Chanhassen, MN – September 15, 2015
I did work many weekends from home on a computer provided by the company and phone services. I learned a lot about telehealth nursing and about their machines for vital signs and watching a persons vitals day after day. Management was pretty good, as a nurse working from home most work with management was by phone and they were always great. The hardest part of the job was the non-compliant or non-adherent patients. The most enjoyable were the people one called who were very nice and appreciative and also followed up if vitals were off.
There is more to life than those things. Company is growing at a decent place and thus everybody is overworked and they demand a lot. If you want to be on call 24-7 expected to start early and stay late, not paid for it, salaried of course... this one is for you. Try an work a normal 40 like you agreed to in the interview, and your not a "team" player.
Can make decent pay and get good benefits elsewhere, high turn over rate here, which makes it even more difficult, turn over rate usually means not a good place to work. So fair warning

No regimen. Angry retentive manager who shouldn't even be there. No guidance, no structure, no consistency. Co-workers are allowed to bully and never get written up. Never. Get out while you can and avoid at all costs.
nice easy blow off job, good hours, lots of donuts
